Validate customers Email
This Book describes the process of customers Email validation.
Email validation process
In order to validate a user/customer e-mail, the ADMIN user needs to follow these steps:
- Access to PAM and look-up for the user, any parameter can be used to make the search e.g. name, e-mail, username.
- Once the account is located, the ADMIN user can verify if the costumer has an e-mail address by clicking on "More" button, located on the right upper side of the page.
- A drawer menu will display, ADMIN user needs to look for the option "Edit Customer"
- By clicking on this option, the user information will be displayed, it will also be editable so ADMIN user can verify and make changes.
- As part of the validation process, the customer e-mail must be entered and verified.
- To verify or enter the e-mail, ADMIN user must check the "E-mail" tab on the page.
- Once e-mail gets confirmed, the admin user can go back to the drawer menu, and verify the E-mail (if it hasn't been verified)
- And also unverify the email.
- In order for admin user to confirm that the e-mail has been properly verified, the customer profile will display a badge on the upper side of the screen with the word "Validated".
